About little old me

My name is Dan Shick. I’m a writer both by trade and by calling. What little discipline I have came from almost two decades of participation in National Novel Writing Month, perhaps better known as Nanowrimo. After beginning many projects without knowing how to flesh them out, let alone complete them, I finally managed to finish my first novel, Durance Vile, in 2023.

I’m an American, a native Californian, but I relocated to Berlin, Germany, a while back. It’s good here, except for the air and the water.
